Passion. Purpose. Positive Change.

Collaborate. Ideate. Make an Impact.

Classrooms across San Diego county are proving what’s possible when students use entrepreneurship as a vehicle for learning. Across the region, classrooms are running student-run businesses as a way to grow the entrepreneurial mindset and connect learning to the world beyond the classroom.

These students are stewards for sustainability – hosting beach cleanups, creating upcycled products, and planting gardens. They engage in social justice and community impact – using their profits to support both their peers and also address larger scale issues. With endless opportunities for collaboration, we’re excited to grow our classroom community alongside innovative educators, committed community members, and advocates for youth entrepreneurship.

Partners + Collaborators

Over the past six years, we’ve built a network of educators and community members who’ve become advocates for this work. Since piloting at High Tech High Media Arts in 2015, we’ve collaborated with countless local champions. From charter school leaders to district coaches, community members to impactful organizations, we are so grateful for the evangelists and thought partners we’ve found along the way and who have walked this journey with us. While we work with classrooms throughout the country, our home team has sharpened our approach and rooted us in the San Diego Community and the youth in our own backyard.

"EdCorps has revolutionized the way I treat the students as people. They're no longer just students coming and going for my classroom, they become young adults that are starting their own business. Everyone has a place, everyone has a specialty, everyone has a niche."

Aaron Grable, Teacher, El Camino High School.
